It is in Kandy, the religious capital of the island, that you will meet your guide and your Royal Enfield. After a short safety briefing, you will head towards Nuwara Eliya through the famous eighteen bends up to Mahiyanganaya. From the very beginning, you will cross beautiful landscapes and in particular the Victoria Randenigala sanctuary, at the foot of the massive Knuckles, which is one of the largest protected areas on the island. On your comfortable Royal Enfield motorbike, you will ride along one of the largest hydraulic reservoirs in the country and be impressed by this work of art.
You will continue your discovery of Sri Lanka by motorbike towards the highlands and the Nuwara Eliya region. Tea plantations parade before your eyes as you ride along. On your motorbike, nose to the wind, on winding roads and surrounded by breathtaking scenery, you will feel privileged in front of so much beauty.
The next day we head south to discover new landscapes. As the kilometres go by, you will observe a change in the environment, the temperature rises, the humidity decreases and the green so characteristic of the plantation region gives way to more arid landscapes. You will cross the Yala National Park where many species of animals live including deer, crocodiles, wild boars, elephants, Indian buffaloes and a multitude of birds but also majestic leopards. If you are lucky, you may see peacocks or elephants crossing the road!
It is in this scenery that your little motorcycle tour in Sri Lanka ends.
